FloodMaster’s FM-094 Water Heater Alarm/Shut-Off System is ideal for minimizing water damage when hot water heater or water tank failures occur. This is accomplished by simply installing the FM-094 to the feed water line for the water tank.

Once the FloodMaster sensor detects leaking water, the system will automatically shut off the feed water intake and sound the alarm. This closed-loop system disables the cold water supply line to hot water tanks or similar applications with basic plumbing installation and no wiring.



The sensor is placed on the floor or in a pan near the pressure relief valve drain tube, or in a position where the leaking water would first appear.

The FloodMaster FM-180 Series of Wireless Total Water Main Shut-off and Alarm products are designed to detect a water leak and then automatically shut off the water main supply line. Specific model selection is based on valve size required to interface to the designated water main pipe. Standard valve selections are ¾”, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 2″, 3″ and 4″.

While other FloodMaster leak detection products are intended for localized appliance control, the FM180 series is designed for leak detection on multiple floors or living levels and when activated, provides complete shutoff of water to the entire building or facility plumbing section. The FM180 Series is ideal for leak detection in commercial properties, multi-unit dwellings, vacation homes and any application that calls for leak detection on multiple floors or living levels. Each system comes with two, battery operated, pre-programmed sensor pucks and additional sensor pucks can be added to the system to meet any application requirement. Additional sensor pucks require an easy “teach” step to begin communication with the alarm box. Wireless sensor puck range is 100′ from the alarm box*.

FloodMaster units are easy to install and require no electrical wiring. An optional connection (24 Volt signal) to a home security panel or control room is also standard on all units.

FloodMaster’s FM-090 is the system that can prevent extensive water damage when a washing machine fails, causing water leakage. This type of household damage is a common cause of costly insurance claims and deductibles. Such damages are more extensive with upstairs laundry rooms and apartments located above the ground floor.



The FM-090 is a complete system that is offered as a local alarm and with a connection to a home security system, if desired.

FloodMaster’s Water Alarm is a simple leak detection device that is easily placed by the potential non-flammable, conductive liquid leak. Once conductive liquid is detected, an alarm sounds from either the FM-095 or the FM-096 FloodMaster models.



The FM-096 comes with a 120 VAC transformer that is plugged into a common wall outlet. This model also has a wire lead that can allow integration into a security system circuit for protection beyond the provided audio alarm. The FM-095 model is a battery-powered unit (9-volt battery not included) that is self contained and can be placed where the potential leak or overflow may occur. This fully transportable sensor can be repositioned as your need for an early leak detection alarm changes.

FloodMaster’s FM-097 is a complete alarm system designed for condensate leak detection and water chiller leak detection in HVAC and HVACR systems.



Placing the sensor in the drip pan or in close proximity to the condensate line will allow the alarm to sound once water has been detected by the sensor or accumulated to a height of approximately 1/2″ in the overflow pan. The HVAC unit will automatically shut off feed water flow to prevent further leaking.
